What is needed?
2007 | They will attend Simunye kindergarten in the township for this year, until they are ready to
transfer to a good kindergarten in Gonubie ('Busy Bodies') offering a good preparation for primary school.

2009 | They will attend 'Busy Bodies', a very good pre-school, which will enable them to attend a good primary school in Gonubie,
a town near their township. Costs: 700 Rand (€ 78,-) per month per child.The children stay here from 7.00 am until 17.30 pm.
The school serves a hot meal at lunchtime (ensuring that the children eat a decent meal) and sandwiches and cooldrink in the afternoon.

2010 | Gonubie Primary School. The current fees for the first year are 490 Rand (€ 55,-) per month per child. * Total per month: € 165,- * |
These are the basic school costs needed. Excursions and transport would be extra costs. In South Africa the government does not pay school fees. If you want a good, normal education you have to pay for it.
